Caltrans 8-Hour WPCM Training
On January 21, 2020, Caltrans issued a Revised Standard Specification (RSS) 13-1.01D, detailing the requirements for Water Pollution Control Managers (WPCM) to complete required training prior to working on Caltrans projects. All projects advertised after April 17, 2020 will include this RSS.
To become a WPC manager, alternate WPC manager, or assistant WPC manager for Caltrans construction projects, one of the stormwater management training requirements is to submit a certificate from a Caltrans authorized vendor upon completion of an 8-hour WPC manager training.
